Manchester United are considering adding youngsters Harry Amass and Radek Vitek to their first-team for next season, according to the Sun.

Man United believe the duo have a genuine chance of forcing their way into the senior squad at the Old Trafford club following impressive displays in the Championship.

Amass is on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and has made 11 league appearances so far this term, proving himself and gathering much-needed experience at senior level.

The England youth international left-back played seven times across the Premier League and Europa League for Man United last term, starting four times.

Amass had to leave for regular playing chances but could be back competing with Patrick Dorgu and Diego Leon under Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese could also need a new goalkeeper with Altay Bayindir expected to be sold and Tom Heaton likely to retire.

Vitek has caught the eye of his parent club with his outstanding performances at Bristol City, where he has kept five clean sheets in 15 Championship games.

The 22-year-old was in the Austrian Bundesliga with Blau-Weiss Linz last season having spent 2023-24 on loan in League Two with Accrington Stanley.

Vitek could fancy his chances of giving new Man United first-choice goalie Senne Lammens a run for his money after impressing in the Championship.

The Czech Republic youth international could be given the chance to show what he can do during the next pre-season, and Amorim will make a decision on his future afterwards.

With Vitek’s stock now high after his performances at Bristol, Man United could look to sell him if he is not open to playing second fiddle to Lammens heading into next season.

He will not be short of suitors if he is put up for sale, with the Robins also monitoring his situation and likely to attempt to buy him if he helps them secure Premier League promotion.
