Manchester United have reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing Bologna winger Dan Ndoye.

Reinforcing the attacking department is believed to be one of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS’ priorities in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The right-wing position especially is an area of the pitch United are keen on strengthening. Antony has so far been a disappointment since his big-money move from Ajax in 2022 and he’s likely to be sold if the club were to receive an enticing offer for him.

Couple this with the fact that there is also uncertainty over the future of Jadon Sancho and it makes sense why a right-sided forward is on the agenda for United.

The 20-time English champions had their eye on Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise but the Frenchman is on the brink of joining Bayern Munich after he snubbed interest from the Premier League.

A previous report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that the Red Devils made a late bid in an attempt to hijack Olise’s switch to Bayern but it was too late.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, it seems that Erik ten Hag’s side have now turned their attention to a new target – Bologna’s Dan Ndoye.

The reliable Italian journalist states that United have even enquired about the 23-year-old as they seek to advance their interest in him.

“Manchester United has its eyes on one of the protagonists of Bologna’s Champions League season. In fact, in the last few hours, the Red Devils have tested the waters for Dan Ndoye, an offensive winger born in 2000.”

Di Marzio adds that Ndoye is also attracting overtures from Serie A outfits, more specifically, Inter Milan. The Nerazzuri view Ndoye as an ideal replacement for Denzel Dumfries in case the Dutchman leaves.

Ndoye managed one goal and as many assists in 32 Serie A appearances during the 2023/24 season.
