In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United have identified Inter Milan forward Ange-Yoan Bonny as a target. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to bring the Ivory Coast talent to Old Trafford this off-season.

Bonny’s Impressive Rise In Italian Football

The 22-year-old has caught the eye at times with his performances as the focal point of Inter’s attack this season. Bonny has banged in seven goals and picked up seven assists in 37 matches for the Italian club in this campaign so far across multiple competitions.

The Ivory Coast talent is currently among the best young forwards in Serie A. Hence, Man United would do well to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams at the end of this campaign.

His current contract at the San Siro will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Is Bonny A Good Option For Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick?

Bonny is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes on the offensive end of the field and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The Ivory Coast talent can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. Standing at 1.89m, Bonny is a strong presence in the air as well. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to get him on board this summer.

We can expect Bonny to bring more quality and depth to Man United head coach Michael Carrick’s frontline in the long run. He has what it takes to fight for a regular starting spot at Old Trafford in the coming seasons.

At 22, the future looks quite bright for Bonny as long as he continues to improve with each year. He would be an excellent option for the Mancunian giants to consider in the long run. Therefore, Carrick would be wise to snap him up this off-season.
