At least four other clubs are keen to recruit the Man United academy graduate.

Juventus, Napoli, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have been linked with Greenwood this summer.

Greenwood is poised for a permanent departure from United

The 22-year-old lit up La Liga while on loan at Getafe last term. He bagged ten goals and six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

He was named Getafe Player of the Season for 2023-24 following his impressive performances.

Lazio have already opened talks with United and are eyeing a £30 million move for the forward.

The Red Devils have one last opportunity to cash in on Greenwood as his contract expires next summer. They have an option to extend his contract by another 12 months.

United should capitalise on the opportunity of the potential bidding war for Greenwood. The youngster has shown that he is still one of the most promising talents in the world.

They must squeeze out around £40m-£50m from his sale, coupled with a good sell-on clause which would benefit the club in the future.

United would aim to reinvest the funds in a top-tier replacement. The club is looking to sign a striker to support Rasmus Hojlund.

Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee has emerged as the priority target and looks set for a move to Old Trafford. United are ready to meet his £34m release clause.
