Red Devils earn just their second Premier League win of the season after beating Chelsea at Old Trafford
Ruben Amorim says Manchester United must build on their win over Chelsea and that Casemiro will “suffer” after his red card.
Man United put the defeat in the Manchester derby behind them to record a much-needed victory over the Blues at Old Trafford on Saturday.
United were given a huge help in hand when Chelsea were reduced to 10-men after just five minutes when goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was shown a red card for denying Bryan Mbeumo an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
The Red Devils took full advantage of having an extra man for much of the first half as goals from captain Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro ultimately proved crucial.
Speaking after the game, Amorim acknowledged the importance of the win but highlighted the lack of consistency with his side at the moment.
He said: "It is really important because I understand the situation around this club. We cannot forget that we suffer a lot when we are on top.
“We can lose against Grimsby, we can beat any team. I'm just thinking about the next one. It is really good to win.
“We need the urgency to win again, that is really important for us."

Man United were made to work for all three points after Casemiro was sent-off for two bookable offences right on the stroke of half-time.
Trevoh Chalobah reduced the deficit with 11 minutes to go, but the hosts held on to ensure the Brazilian’s lapse of concentration did not result in dropped points.
Discussing Casemiro’s reaction to the red card, Amorim said: "He's [feeling] worse than me. We won, so I will forget a little bit and he will suffer because he's a top professional.
“He understands what he did. He is experienced enough that that play should not be played like that. He cares too much.”
