Lazio and Bournemouth are finalising a deal for Christos Mandas, with Edoardo Motta lined up as his replacement in Rome.
Fabrizio Romano reports the clubs are exchanging documents and that an announcement could come within hours. Sky Sport Italia says Lazio will pay €1.2 million for Motta, with half going to Juventus and Reggiana due a 5% sell-on.
Mandas, 24, has been on the bench since Maurizio Sarri returned last summer. His only outing this season came in the Coppa Italia, with Ivan Provedel starting every Serie A match.
Bournemouth are set to take the Greek goalkeeper on loan until the end of the season for €3 million, with an option to buy for €18 million. That option could become an obligation if he reaches a set appearance threshold.
Motta, 21, is a Juventus youth product who has developed at Reggiana since 2023. He is due to undergo a medical on Monday before joining Sarri’s squad.
He has made 20 Serie B appearances this season, conceding 30 goals and keeping five clean sheets.
