Manuel Leyes shares photo with Samu after ACL surgery

Manuel Leyes, the surgeon who operated on Samu, has shared a photo with the FC Porto forward after the procedure.

The Spanish striker underwent surgery in Madrid for a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. According to O Jogo, he will return to Olival on Monday to start his recovery.

Leyes posted the image on social media with words of support, encouraging the player to stay upbeat and confident.

In the picture, Samu is holding a Porto shirt, which he is said to have gifted to the doctor.

The post offered an early glimpse of the forward following the operation as his rehabilitation begins.
