It is expected that Roma will get rid of Albanian international Marash Kumbulla in the summer, reports Calciomercato.

Having joined Roma initially on loan from Hellas Verona, the Giallorossi bought the defender back in 2021 f0r €26.50m. So far, the centre back has played 91 games for Roma, scoring five goals.

He has not been a regular in the starting lineup this season, featuring just six times in the Serie A. Kumbulla’s most recent appearance came in the weekend defeat at home to Sassuolo. It was in part his poor performance that saw Roma lose 4-3 to the Neroverdi on Sunday. That resulted in the club looking for a solution for the 23-year-old in the off-season.

According to the previously mentioned source, Kumbulla can count on interest from multiple Italian clubs. These include Torino, Bologna, Lecce and Fiorentina. His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, with the current market value set at €14m.

Roma’s next game is on Thursday in the Europa League as they head to Spain to face Real Sociedad. José Mourinho’s side go into the game with a 2-0 lead from the first leg.
