Amar Dedic has recovered from the muscle problem that ruled him out of Bosnia and Herzegovina's last World Cup match, giving Marco Silva and Benfica a timely boost.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Benfica right-back is available again to face the United States in the round of 32 at 01:00 on Thursday.

He missed the 3-1 win over Qatar with an anterior thigh issue. Head coach Sergej Barbarez downplayed the problem as a manageable physical limitation, opting to protect him by starting Malic. Benfica have monitored his recovery closely.

Dedic remained in Seattle for quadriceps treatment while his team-mates travelled on, then rejoined the squad in Salt Lake City and is now training without restrictions.

All signs point to him returning to the starting XI, having begun the first two group matches. With the issue resolved, Silva should be able to count on the full-back in full condition on his return after the World Cup.
