Market: Japanese midfielder leaves B team for Liga 3

Kotaro Nagata, a 21-year-old Japanese attacking midfielder, will return to play for Oliveirense, who were relegated to Liga 3, in the 2026/27 season. The player had already featured for the Oliveira de Azeméis club in the second half of last season, on loan from FC Porto.

Now, Nagata returns to Oliveirense on a permanent deal and will be coached by Pedro Ribeiro. FC Porto and Oliveirense will share the player’s economic rights equally. The Japanese player had already worn the colours of the Oliveira de Azeméis side in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.
