Olympique de Marseille have reportedly made Stole Dimitrievski (32) a priority target to succeed Gerónimo Rulli (34) between the posts, according to Foot Mercato.

Having enjoyed a superb second half of the season with Valencia CF (19 games, 24 goals conceded and five clean sheets), the North Macedonian international (88 caps) will see his contract expire next June. An opportunity that looks like a golden chance for OM, who will have to make do with limited resources to refresh their squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.

But signing the 32-year-old goalkeeper will be no easy task. And this is for the simple reason that his Spanish club want him to sign a new contract. Which they could do if they decided to activate a clause in Dimitrievski’s current contract, which would then tie him to the Che club until 2028, if they agreed to pay him a compensation fee of €500,000.
