Marseille predicted XI v Auxerre: Angel Gomes and Igor Paixao to start from the bench | OneFootball

There may be no space in the starting XI for Igor Paixao and Angel Gomes when Olympique de Marseille travel to face AJ Auxerre on Saturday night. 

Both players are expected to start on the bench. There is plenty of competition in the midfield in particular, whilst Robinio Vaz is set to be rewarded for his performance in midweek. The OM academy product may still have a place in the line-up, even with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang likely to lead the line against Auxerre. 

Roberto De Zerbi is still without several key players. Leonardo Balerdi, Facundo Medina, Timothy Weah, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Bilal Nadir, Hamed Junior Traoré, and Amine Gouiri are all out for Les Phocéens. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is expected to captain the side in Balerdi’s absence.
