Marseille predicted XI v Lorient: Facundo Medina suspended, Emerson returns | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille ended a run of back-to-back defeats with a 3-1 win over bottom-of-the-table FC Metz last weekend. Since then, the club departed for southern Spain for a warm-weather retreat to sharpen their focus ahead of a vital push for Champions League football. 

Habib Beye will likely stick with the team that won last weekend as they host FC Lorient this afternoon, with only one enforced change. Facundo Medina’s yellow card against Metz meant that the centre-back is suspended for today’s game. Emerson Palmieri is expected to come in for the Argentine on the left of the back three. 

Beye remains without some crucial figures in his squad, with Geoffrey Kondogbia, CJ Egan-Riley, and Nayef Aguerd still out recovering in the sickbay.
