Olympique de Marseille will be hoping to return to winning ways after the pause in club football. Before the international break, Les Olympiens were left frustrated following a 1-1 draw with Angers in a match where both teams were reduced to ten men.
L’Équipe reports that OM head coach Roberto De Zerbi is set to make four changes to his team that could only manage a draw against the newly promoted side last time out. In defence, Derek Cornelius is set to drop to the bench with Geoffrey Kondogbia moving into a deeper defensive role.
Pierre-Emile Højberg will keep his position in midfield with Adrien Rabiot and Amine Harit reinstated to the starting lineup as Valentin Carboni is unavailable due to an ACL injury and Luis Henrique drops to the bench. Neal Maupay is unavailable for the match after his red card against Angers; Elye Wahi deputises. Jonathan Rowe should be rewarded for his goalscoring heroics last time out and start alongside his compatriot Mason Greenwood in attack.
Gerónimo Rulli – Amir Murillo, Leonardo Balerdi, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Ulisses Garcia – Pierre-Emile Højberg, Adrien Rabiot, Amine Harit – Mason Greenwood, Elye Wahi, Jonathan Rowe.
