Martim Fernandes gave up his day off to continue treatment on plantar fasciitis in his right foot as he aims to be available for the Sporting clash.

According to O Jogo, the full-back reported to Olival on Wednesday to undergo treatment.

The pain made it impossible for him to continue in the match in Rio Maior.

The inflammation needs to ease so the pain becomes manageable.

A decision on his participation on Monday will be left until shortly before kick-off.
