Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard says it is a “dream” to play with Erling Haaland, as the pair combined to help Norway hammer Moldova.
Haaland was the star of the show, scoring five times in a single match for the third time in his career.
Odegaard set up the second of Haaland’s goals, one of his two assists on the night, while he was also on the scoresheet.
“It’s a dream to play with him,” Odegaard told reporters after the game in Norway.
“I know he times the runs perfectly. Then it’s just a matter of hitting him, and then he mostly goes on to finish when he gets it.”

Haaland was given a 10/10 rating for his performance by Norwegian newspaper VG - and the striker said Odegaard should receive the same.
The pair terrorised Moldova to leave Norway top of their World Cup qualifying group and with a 100 per cent record after five games.
“These are two of the world’s best footballers,” Fulham midfielder Sander Berge told VG.
“When they do it in the Premier League, you almost expect them to do it when they get so much space.
“There are some amazing goals of course, but they are on that level. Then you just have to enjoy yourself and watch.”
