Martin Odegaard declared Arsenal have their eyes set on "every trophy" this season as they continue their push on four fronts.

Mikel Arteta's side sit six points clear at the top of the Premier League and won all eight of their Champions League matches to cruise through to the last-16.

With a fourth-round FA Cup tie at home to Wigan to come as well, Arsenal are in a perfect position to win their first piece of silverware since 2020 and potentially lift multiple trophies this season.

"We play to win everything," Odegaard told Men in Blazers.

"We want to win every game we play, every tournament we play, every trophy, you know? So, that's the mindset.

“As I said before, I think the key is to stay in the moment and not think too much about the bigger picture or too far ahead.

"But I think for us it's just winning every single game. That's our goal.

"So at the moment we have to just look for the next game and it's a good thing we're in all the competitions. That's what we want.

"I think that's good for the squad to have that, everything to push for and, as I said, stay in the moment and just try to win every single game."

Arsenal have finished second in the Premier League in each of the last three seasons.

This time, though, Arteta has the squad to cope with injury issues and a hectic schedule, leaving the Gunners firm favourites to win a first league title since the 2003-04 campaign.

Asked why this season will be different to their previous disappointments, Odegaard said: "I think just that we've matured. We've grown as a team, as a group.

"We've been through a lot. And the work we do every single day, I think that's the biggest thing. What I see every single day on the training ground. How much we want it, how much we want to work for it.

"With the squad we have, the players, the depth in the squad and the togetherness. Just what I see every single day, that's what's giving me the confidence that we're going to do it.

"So it's great to be a part of that. And we believe that we're in a good position now and we just push on from here."
