If the previous campaign wasn't special enough for Martin Ødegaard, as he captained Arsenal to a Premier League title, this season could potentially top it.

The Gunners are, understandably, among the favourites for the title, and they've already won their opening two games against Coventry City and Aston Villa.

Despite trailing London rivals Chelsea inside the opening two minutes of Sunday's clash at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta's men have come from behind to lead 2-1 after the hour.

Ødegaard has been central to the comeback with the strike that put them ahead in the second half.

The goal marks the Norway international's second goal of the campaign, and he has now doubled his goal tally from last season (1) in just three matches.

Whether Arsenal can get over the line against Chelsea and potentially go on to retain their title remains to be seen, but Ødegaard is certainly on track for a stellar personal campaign.
