Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhães attend Corinthians v Arsenal final

The FIFA Champions Cup final, held last Sunday (01), featured athletes from the Brazilian National Team in the stands of the Emirates Stadium in London. Corinthians and Arsenal contested the title, with the English club winning 3-2 after extra time, a result that secured the runner-up position for the alvinegra team.

Among the spectators were Gabriel Magalhães and Gabriel Martinelli, players from Arsenal's men's team and the Brazilian National Team. The athletes watched the match from a stadium box and wore scarves representing both clubs involved in the decision.

One of those present, Gabriel Martinelli, has a history with Corinthians. The forward began his journey at the São Paulo club in 2008, joining the youth ranks for approximately seven years, with stints in futsal and field football. He later left Parque São Jorge to play for Ituano before being transferred to Arsenal.

Gabriel Magalhães, on the other hand, did not play professionally for Corinthians but has previously shown affinity with the club. The defender has been seen attending team matches at the Neo Química Arena, even alongside organized fans.

During the Champions Cup campaign, Corinthians stayed in London for about two weeks. In the semifinal, the team defeated Gotham FC from the United States 1-0, with a goal by Gabi Zanotti. In the final, they faced Arsenal and were defeated 3-2, with goals by Gabi Zanotti and Vic Alburquerque, after extra time, finishing the tournament as runners-up.
