Gabriel Martinelli marked his Al-Hilal debut within 24 hours of his signing being announced, expressing delight after a 2-0 win over Al-Shabab.

The Saudi Roshn League fixture took place on Friday evening at the SHG Arena. Martinelli entered in the 67th minute for Sultan Al-Mandash and did not register a goal or assist.

He initially operated on the right wing, not his preferred role, before switching to the left in the closing stages following the departure of Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville.
