Roma director Frederic Massara insists they have ‘other solutions’ in attack and must ‘raise our game’ against Inter this evening.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
This is a huge opportunity to go clear at the top of the table, because joint leaders Napoli suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at Torino this evening.

“Inter have been playing at a very high level for many years, they were in the Champions League Final a few months ago, so we need to raise our game,” Massara told Sky Sport Italia.
Angelino is still out with bronchitis, but Paulo Dybala returns in an unusual False 9 position, leaving both Artem Dovbyk and Evan Ferguson on the bench.
“We have Dybala and Soulé upfront, strikers who are dangerous and admired by other clubs, so there are other solutions and the options off the bench are also going to be important.”
Wesley also seemingly shifts over to the left flank, with Mario Hermoso making his comeback in defence.

Considering Roma have had such a strong start to the season, will they have the financial leeway to bring in reinforcements during the January transfer window?
“The Financial Fair Play parameters are very tight, but our club owners are ready to make investments where they are allowed to. It is very early anyway to start talking about the January transfer window.
“This is a team that still needs to grow and is working well under Gian Piero Gasperini.”
