Motherwell beat St Mirren 2-0 at Fir Park to remain fourth in the Scottish Premiership.
In the 35th minute, Tawanda Maswanhise raced clear and slotted into the bottom left after Elijah Just's through ball on a fast break.
After the restart, Elliot Watt doubled the lead (57.) with a right-footed strike from outside the box into the top right corner, set up by Maswanhise.
Shamal George kept St Mirren in it before the interval, twice denying Callum Slattery from promising positions. Liam Gordon was alert at the other end, saving Miguel Freckleton's header just before half time.
Motherwell registered 15 attempts with eight on target, reflecting their control in key moments. St Mirren mustered nine attempts and hit the target twice.
