Take Kubo is in Japan and will need longer than expected to recover, Pellegrino Matarazzo has said.

According to Diario Vasco, this is not a routine absence and it could have sporting and market repercussions.

Kubo has been given permission to travel to Japan to visit his family and his trusted doctors.

His lay-off is estimated at two months.

Matarazzo has expressed concern over the injury.
