During his career, the 39-year-old has also officiated in the EFL, as well as being in the middle of UEFA Champions League, Conference League, Europa League and international clashes.

By overseeing the action at the City Ground, the Whites will join Aston Villa in becoming the team Jones has officiated most in his career. In those 21 games to date, Leeds have won nine and drawn six times.

Most recently, he oversaw a dramatic draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge where goals from Lukas Nmecha and Noah Okafor brought Daniel Farke’s side level in the capital.

Saturday’s hosts, meanwhile, have won seven and lost six of their 21 encounters overseen by Jones though are without a victory in their previous five.

Running the touchlines are Nick Greenhalgh and Alistair Nelson with Gavin Ward appointed as Fourth Official. Keeping an eye on the action from Stockley Park is VAR Craig Pawson.
