A postponed fixture last weekend means the Bees come into Sunday’s fixture refreshed, ready to tackle a tough run of league and cup games in the build-up to Christmas.
Following a 3-0 victory over Newhaven during the week, Saltdean United jumped to the top of the league table, equal on 21 points with Brentford.
The west Londoners have a game in hand, however, and with Saltdean without a fixture this weekend, the chance is there for the Bees to go back into top spot.
Williams’ side fought out a tough 2-1 win over Reading away from home last time out, booking their place in the first round of the FA Cup.
Captain Maddie Phillips scored the opening goal of the game in the first half, Khyrie McKenzie following suit in the second half to double the lead.
A stoppage-time goal from Reading made for a tense finish, however the Bees prevailed to book a clash with Sutton United in the next round.
Previously against Aylesford, Brentford claimed a 1-0 win away from home on the opening day of the season.
Following a goalless first half, it was debutant Asees Sangha who broke the stranglehold after the break and her strike was enough to secure all three points.
Aylesford go into Sunday’s clash third in the league table, with five wins, a draw and three losses from nine games.
After an opening-day loss to Brentford, Aylesford responded by winning their next three games, scoring 10 goals and conceding one during that stretch.
They have had an even spread of contributors up front, with Beth Hulme and Nicole Pepper Scott both scoring five goals, while Rebecca Keyte has netted four.
Aylesford will be back home for their next clash after facing the Bees as they welcome Dorking Wanderers.
To all fans heading to Bedfont on Sunday, please be aware that there is limited parking available at the venue.
