After a comfortable win at Gtech Community Stadium against Queens Park Rangers in their last league outing, the young Bees followed that victory with a 6-1 win against Luton Town in the Premier League Cup.
The west Londoners now look forward to a trip to Ashton Gate as they take on Bristol City.
The Bees defeated QPR 4-0 in the west London derby at the Gtech.
Romelle Donovan opened the scoring for Brentford with a superb first-half strike from distance. In the second half, Josh Stephenson doubled the lead with a header from Donovan’s corner, before substitute Iwan Morgan added a third with a composed finish.
Myles Peart-Harris sealed the win late on, converting Michael Olakigbe’s cross to cap a dominant performance by the young Bees.
Bristol City come into Tuesday's clash sitting 17th in the league table with two wins, a draw and six losses to their name.
The Robins have only one victory in their last five games in the league, though this win did come in their most recent league outing as they beat Bournemouth 4-0.
The club will have updates of the game against Bristol City on social media, as well as a match report on the club's website and app.
