Strasbourg midfielder Mathis Amougou will miss Sunday’s Ligue 1 derby against Metz with an ankle issue and is out for a week.

According to L'Équipe, he has been absent since the start of the week and has withdrawn from the 18th-round fixture, which kicks off at 15:00.

He picked up the problem during the Coupe de France win at Avranches, 6-0 on Saturday, and must rest for a few days.

Also out are Andrew Omobamidele with a calf issue, Emmanuel Emegha with a thigh issue, and Maxi Oyedele with a groin issue.

Guéla Doué is due in Alsace on Friday, and he is not expected to be called up to face Metz.
