Matías Orozco continues CD Castellón’s successful Voulgaris blueprint | OneFootball

Matías Orozco completed his first training session with CD Castellón at the club’s training ground yesterday, as the club seek to extend a proven blueprint under Haralabos Voulgaris.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, supporters at SkyFi Castalia have grown used to falling for loan midfielders who briefly dazzle, a reflection of the sporting department’s precision in recent seasons.

Voulgaris arrived in July 2022 and moved for Giorgi Kochorashvili, who needed a few games to settle but soon became integral. The Georgian delivered four goals and four assists, with Castellón losing the promotion play-off final and narrowly missing Segunda División. His rise continued afterwards and he has signed for Sevilla this summer.

The return to professional football arrived the following season.
