Matthieu Louis-Jean has been promoted to sporting director at Olympique Lyonnais, a move that caps his influence on the club’s recent turnaround.

Louis-Jean arrived in 2023. His recruitment successes have been matched by an ability to bring calm across the club, from the offices to the dressing room.

With the promotion confirmed, he is now the club’s leading figure.
