Matthis Abline available for Monaco v Marseille on Sunday | OneFootball

Matthis Abline will return to the Monaco squad to face Marseille at Stade Louis-II on Sunday, kick-off 20:45. A foot injury had kept him out since the start of the season.

According to Nice-Matin, head coach Filipe Luis said on Saturday that the 23-year-old forward will be in the group for Ligue 1 matchday two.

Abline has yet to make an official appearance for Monaco after arriving in late July. The club’s most expensive signing was hurt in the last friendly at Coventry and needed stitches.

The setback ruled him out of the first three competitive matches of the campaign. He is now fit and available to the staff.

No other Monaco players are returning for this fixture. Balogun, still training away from the group and on the way out, remains unavailable, as do Ansu Fati, Edan Diop, Takumi Minamino and Mohammed Salisu.
