Last month, U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Mauricio Pochettino said he was looking for “the right 26” to represent the country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In just a few weeks, the world will learn which players officially made his roster live on FOX in a nationally televised event on Tuesday, May 26.

For the first time, U.S. Soccer will turn the roster reveal into a live fan celebration from New York City, bringing supporters directly into one of the most anticipated moments in the sport. The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City’s historic South Street Seaport will host the event which builds on U.S. Soccer’s “Never Chase Reality” campaign to push beyond expectations and reimagine what’s possible on the world stage.

The fan celebration will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET and will lead directly into a special live roster reveal show airing exclusively on FOX from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET. The broadcast will be hosted by U.S. Soccer legends and FOX Sports broadcasters Alexi Lalas, Stu Holden, Carli Lloyd, Rob Stone, Jenny Taft, Landon Donovan and feature additional celebrity appearances.

The event will feature live entertainment, immersive activations and more, including a Q&A session with Rand Getlin, co-founder of Park Stories and co-director of the HBO Original Sports Documentary Series U.S. AGAINST THE WORLD: FOUR YEARS WITH THE MEN’S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM, debuting May 12 on HBO and available to stream on HBO Max.

The roster announcement will precede the team’s final two matches before the World Cup begins, with the USMNT facing Senegal on May 31 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. and Germany on June 6 in Chicago, Ill. The USA will begin the World Cup group stage against Paraguay on Friday, June 12 at Los Angeles Stadium.
