The agent of Juventus talent Samuel Mbangula claims he predicted the youngster’s goalscoring start to life in the Bianconeri first team the night before Monday’s entertaining 3-0 win over Como.
“To be honest, I told him he would score and get an assist yesterday afternoon.” said Grace Diamouangana, Mbangula’s agen, reported via TMW.
Mbangula made his senior debut for Juventus in their 2024-25 Serie A season opener at home against Torino. It took him just 23 minutes of his senior career to grab his first goal, cutting in neatly off the left flank before bending a powerful effort in at the far post from the edge of the area.
To top off what was already an impressive debut, The 20-year-old played the final ball over to Andrea Cambiaso, before he went on a run and applied the finishing touches for Juve’s third in the first minute of injury time.
“After the match he told me he was over the moon,” the youngster’s agent added. “He’s really happy and he’ll remember this night for a long time to come.”
Diamouangana confirmed that it was a shock to everybody involved to see Mbangula in the starting line-up so soon into his life with the first team.
“Honestly, I didn’t expect him to start. The boy didn’t expect it either. When he told me after he found out, we were really happy and I was already convinced that he’d play a great game. I think the coach rewarded him for his hard work in training.”
