Paris Saint-Germain are through to the last-16 of the Coupe de France after a comfortable x-0 win over Championnat National 2 side Vannes thanks to a hat-trick from Kylian Mbappé.
Scorers: Kimpembe 28′, Mbappé 59′, 71′, 76′.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominated possession from the off as expected and found themselves ahead just before the half hour mark.
Defender Presnel Kimpembe made the breakthrough when he got on to the end of Nuno Mendes’ corner and headed into the back of the net at the back post.
Despite the dominance, PSG did fail to create too much in the form of clear cut chances and out of nowhere Vannes nearly found themselves level.
Lucas Duary’ cross hit Sebastien Perisco inside the box before flying just wide of the post.
PSG killed the game off midway through the second half as Kylian Mbappé bagged a hat-trick to seal their place in the next round.
The Frenchman was released on the break by Kimpembe before his shot struck Clement Petrel before deflected back and rolling over the line.
Teenager Xavi Simons then played in Mbappé through on goal before he produced a first-time strike to beat Petrel from 20 yards out.
Five minutes later, the forward played a clever one-two with Eric Ebimbe before tapping into the empty net.
