With Lorenzo Pellegrini’s contract renewal now completed, Roma are once again focusing on the transfer market.
The priority remains the same: finding a left-sided winger to hand over to Gian Piero Gasperini.
Tony D’Amico continues to work on several fronts, balancing old targets with new opportunities.
Malick Fofana remains a hot name, but the road to the Lyon talent has become more complicated.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Leipzig have also made a strong move for the player, and there’s a reportedly ongoing “war” between agents to bring him to Germany, linked to the fees to be paid after the Diomande deal.
Roma’s eyes also remain firmly on France. Among the prospects being monitored is PSG’s Ibrahim Mbaye, who could leave Paris on loan and thus represent another option for the attacking line.
D’Amico also continues to monitor Endrick’s situation.
The Brazilian Real Madrid player remains in their sights, although Fenerbahçe and several Premier League clubs are interested. Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens plays in England, another prospect still on the Giallorossi’s radar.
