According to AlHilal, team doctor Dr Juan Jimenez has outlined rehabilitation programmes for Salem Al-Dawsari, Hassan Al-Tambakti and Hamad Al-Yami.

Salem is in the first phase of rehab at a specialised centre after knee tendon surgery. He is due to begin the next phase on 20 August, with his progress monitored over the next two and a half months to judge when he can start a gradual return to team training.

Hassan continues gym-based work, using the anti-gravity treadmill as part of his programme in preparation for a gradual return to group training.

Hamad is also progressing through rehab and is expected to start a gradual return to field training in October or November.

No new injuries have been recorded during the squad’s pre-season preparations so far, with work ongoing to prevent issues and ensure players are in the best possible physical condition.
