Mehdi Zeffane signs for GOAL FC after pre-season with Chasselay club

According to Le Progres, 34-year-old full-back Mehdi Zeffane has signed for GOAL FC, the Chasselay club.

He had been a free agent since January 2026 and completed the team’s full pre-season.

Zeffane has played more than 240 senior matches, including 24 for his formative club, Olympique Lyonnais.

He has 105 Ligue 1 appearances, spanning spells at Rennes from 2015 to 2019 and Clermont between 2022 and 2024.

His career abroad includes time with Krylia Sovetov in Russia’s top division.
