As in every transfer window, Beşiktaş is once again setting its sights on Sadio Mané, hoping that this time they can finally land the Senegalese star.

Having already shown interest in the player last summer and again in the winter, the Turkish club has re-established contact with Mané’s entourage to gauge his stance on a move to the Turkish Super Lig.

The Beşiktaş board wants to make a statement before the transfer window closes by signing the Lion of Teranga, who is currently under contract with Al-Nassr until June 2026.

The native of Bambaly has played 95 matches over two seasons in Saudi Arabia, tallying 38 goals and 26 assists. Once considered surplus to requirements, he has managed to regain the trust of the coaching staff, especially new manager Jorge Jesus.

Beşiktaş is experiencing a tough start to the season, sitting eleventh in the Turkish league table and having been knocked out of the Europa Conference League play-offs by Lausanne (0-1, 1-1).
