Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi and Algeria's Yacine Brahimi are set to continue their journey with Al-Gharafa. The Qatari club has officially announced the contract extensions for its two central midfielders.
Al-Gharafa shared a short video clip on its official X account, showing both players signing their new deals. The post was captioned: "The story continues," accompanied by the flags of Algeria and Tunisia and a yellow heart, symbolizing the team's colors. The new contracts will keep them at the club until June 2026.
Having joined the club in 2023 from Al-Duhail SC, Ferjani Sassi (33) has established himself as a key figure in the squad. He has notched up 17 goals and provided 9 assists in 63 appearances. Sassi was instrumental in the victory over Al-Rayyan (2-1) in the final of the Emir of Qatar Cup in 2025.
Arriving a year earlier (2022), Yacine Brahimi (35) has become a cornerstone of the team's midfield. The Fennec boasts an impressive tally of 45 goals and 36 assists in 84 matches.
