Ligue 1 strugglers Metz are expected to sign central defender Jean Armel Kana-Biyik on a short-term deal until the end of the season, according to Goal France.
The 32-year-old ex-Rennes and Gaziantep FK defender has been on trial with Les Grenats in recent days and Frédéric Antonetti appears poised to pull the trigger on his signing.
Kana-Biyik will represent the 2nd consecutive mid-season central defensive signing, after Metz pulled the trigger on the loan signing of Brazilian defender Jemerson from AS Monaco in the joker transfer window.
Kana-Biyik would sign until June 2022.
