Michael Zetterer to make Leeds United decision in next 48 hours | OneFootball

Leeds United target Michael Zetterer is expected to make a decision on his future within the next 48 hours, according to a report by Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

The Premier League side want the German goalkeeper as their new No.2, and have thus made an improved offer. Per Plettigoal, the deal hasn’t hit a roadblock because of Leeds and Eintracht Frankfurt are failing to reach an agreement, but because the key factor is Zetterer.

However, speaking last week, Nico Pellatz, Zetterer’s agent, said: “We are very surprised by reports that Michael Zetterer is supposedly close to a transfer. They do not correspond to the truth. Michael and his family feel very comfortable in Frankfurt. A transfer is currently not an option for him.”

But with Eintracht Frankfurt securing a loan move for Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu on loan with an obligation to buy, should certain conditions be met, then it’s quite possible that move could accelerate Zetterer’s departure, with Eintracht also having Kaua Santos at the club.
