Michel Platini has been greeting guests at Bistrot de Nino in Cassis, the harbour-side restaurant he bought in 2021, a move he says has reconnected him with everyday people.

He even toyed with calling the restaurant Aux trois Ballons d'Or, before deciding that would have been over the top.
