Michele Padovano agrees with Spalletti on giving Kolo Muani time | OneFootball

Luciano Spalletti has publicly asked for more from Randal Kolo Muani, but the manager has also made it clear that he is not giving up on the misfiring Frenchman.

Juve invested significant time and money to sign him from PSG in the last transfer window, but Kolo Muani has continued to struggle to score his first goal.

That is surely not what they expected when they pushed to bring him back as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, because Vlahovic had been in fine form in the last few seasons.

The striker left as a free agent, and Juve spent a significant amount of money on Kolo Muani instead of meeting the Serbian’s demands, so there is considerable expectation on the Frenchman.

Kolo Muani still has support

The Bianconeri remain confident that Kolo Muani will do well, but some fans have already grown impatient with him, as they expected much more from the striker.

Although Kolo Muani is also frustrated by his struggles, Michele Padovano agrees with Spalletti that the Frenchman should continue to be trusted as a starter for the rest of this season.

Padovano believes Kolo Muani has already shown enough during his time in Turin to justify continued patience, despite his inability to capitalise on the opportunities he has created.

Padovano calls for patience

The former player has backed Spalletti’s assessment and believes Kolo Muani can recover his form. As quoted by Calciomercato, he said:

“I agree with Spalletti’s comments after the match against Milan. I’m also on the Kolo Muani bandwagon, because he’s already played six months in Turin and that spell was extremely positive . Unfortunately, he wasn’t precise in capitalizing on the opportunities he had, but I’m sure he’ll get back on track.

“Personally, I’m convinced we need to be patient. We’ll take stock at the end of the season.”

Kolo Muani will therefore have further opportunities to prove himself, with Padovano confident that patience could eventually be rewarded. Juventus will hope the Frenchman can rediscover his form and justify the faith placed in him.
