Midfielder Hugo Magnetti extends Brest deal until 2029

Hugo Magnetti has extended his Stade Brestois contract until 2029.

The club announced the extension on Sunday evening, before Brest faced Paris-SG on matchday four of Ligue 1, during tributes to Eric Roy.

Magnetti joined from Bastia in 2017.

The 28-year-old is a central midfielder and the team’s vice-captain.

He marked the moment by brandishing the referees’ substitution board on the touchline.
