WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.
The 26-year-old Dutch international joined Arsenal from Ajax in the January 2023 transfer window. She has gone on to make 87 appearances for The Gunners in all competitions in which she has scored six goals. Pelova has won the UEFA Women’s Champions League, FIFA Women’s Champions Cup and two Subway Women’s League Cups with Arsenal.
With Pelova’s contract set to expire next month, it has been determined that she will take on a fresh challenge in 2026/2027.
Pelova’s confirmed departure comes after Arsenal announced the summer exits of goalkeeper Naomi Williams and defender Laia Codina. Williams’ departure was announced by the North Londoners last week while Arsenal confirmed the news that defender Codina is leaving earlier this morning. Williams has spent eight years with Arsenal after joining the club as a 13-year-old while Codina has been with the North Londoners for the last three seasons after signing on in summer 2023.
Pelova’s final home fixture as an Arsenal player is on Wednesday when The Gunners play host to Everton at the Emirates Stadium.
