Midfielder signs first professional deal with Corinthians at 16

On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 21, Corinthians registered, in the CBF’s Daily Information Bulletin (BID), the first professional contract of midfielder Arthur Franchini, known as Cebola, who is 16 years old and part of the U-17 squad. According to Meu Timão, the new contract will be valid until October 8, 2028.

Furthermore, according to the report, the domestic release clause will be R$ 8 million, while the international clause is set at 50 million euros (R$ 312 million), following the standards of recent contract renewals. This type of contract – CLT – provides greater legal support for both the club and the player.

In 2025, he played only one match for the U-17 category, in a 1-0 victory over Ferroviária in the Paulista Championship, where he played for 15 minutes as a forward. Most of the time, he was with the U-16 squad, and earlier this year he had his first training session with the main team – in July.
