Wycombe Wanderers have announced the departure of manager Mike Dodds after five defeats in their first eight games with the club sitting 19th in the table.
Dodds was initially appointed in February after previously coaching with Sunderland with the Chairboys recording seven wins, five draws, and seven defeats in the final 19 games of the 2024/25 season. Wycombe managed to reach the play-off semi-finals but lost 1-0 to Charlton Athletic on aggregate.
However, a poor start to the current campaign has seen the sacking of Dodds as well as first team coach Pete Shuttleworth.
"The board has reluctantly taken this decision, and the club would like to place on record its gratitude to Mike and Pete for their hard work and efforts during their time with Wycombe Wanderers, and wish them every success for the future," a statement read.
Wycombe are next in action on Saturday as they host 15th place Northampton Town.
