Mikel Goti celebrates Copa del Rey triumph while on loan at Córdoba | OneFootball

Pablo Marín converted from the spot, wrong-footing Musso, to seal Real Sociedad’s fourth Copa del Rey in Seville, a moment that also delighted loanee Mikel Goti after he had featured for Córdoba in a 1-2 win at Cultural Leonesa.

According to AS, the txuri-urdin celebrations erupted at La Cartuja, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián and for Goti, who is on loan at Córdoba from Real Sociedad and, with special permission, did not return on the team bus to Córdoba.

Winter window moves took Goti to the banks of the Guadalquivir and sent Sadiq to Valencia. Both had contributed to the run that ended with the trophy at La Cartuja, with the Nigerian celebrating on social media moments after Materazzo’s side finished the job.

Goti followed the final on the journey back from Córdoba’s 1-2 victory at the Reino de León. The left-footed playmaker impressed in the second half and went close to scoring, denied by Rodri.

He will return on 1 July to the club that, with this title, has earned places in the Supercopa de España and the Europa League.

After shining with Sanse, Goti signed a professional deal last season to 30 June 2028 and made four league appearances, debuting in the top flight at Anoeta against Real Madrid.

In the cup he started at Negreira, opening the scoring on 12 minutes in a 0-3 win. In the next phase on 3 December against Reus he again struck first, making it 0-1 just after the restart, with Sadiq sealing the result in minute 93. Days later, both departed on loan.
