Milan have trusted Francesco Camarda behind Gonçalo Ramos for the first part of the season, but they could reverse the decision if the youngster doesn’t deliver, and they have earmarked Ermedin Demirovic ahead of January, Fussball News reports (via Calciomercato).

The Rossoneri set sights on the 28-year-old, who’s off to a great start thanks chiefly to a hat-trick in the first UEFA Champions League match of the season versus Viking. Instead, he has scored once in three domestic tilts.

Milan could eventually decide to bring in another center-forward, but they’d have to loosen their purse strings for Demirovic, as he has a €35M price tag. The Rossoneri had already been attached to him back in 2025, when his valuation was lower.

The journeyman found a home at Stuttgart. He has notched 36 goals and 11 assists in 92 matches for his current team. He previously spent time at Freiburg and Augsburg after first breaking out at St. Gallen in Switzerland. He has 44 caps with Bosnia under his belt.

Our Take on Milan and Demirovic

Camarda doesn’t lack talent, but his campaign at Lecce was nothing to write home about. He could certainly use consistent playing time to keep developing. He’ll likely struggle to find it with them, as they are understandably pot-committed to Gonçalo Ramos. A change of plans could easily be on the cards in January. However, they’ll likely settle for a steady hand rather than another pricey option if they’ll make a winter addition.
