Milan have learned who they will be facing in the Europa League this season.
The Rossoneri finished the last season in 5th place, missing out of the Champions League on the last Matchday of the league, qualifying for the Europa League instead. Today, the draw for the League Phase took place in Monte Carlo and the Diavolo learned their opponents.
The UEFA Europa League format features a single 36-team League Phase.
There are 4 Post based on European coefficient and each team plays 2 teams from each Pot. Milan found themselves in Pot 1, and were drawn against two teams from Pot 1, two from Pot 2, two from Port 3 and two from Pot 4.
Rúben Amorim’s Milan will host Benfica, Ferencváros, Sunderland and Ararat-Armenia, while their four away fixtures will see them face Olympiacos, Salzburg, Bournemouth and Levski Sofia.
