Reports in Italy claim that Milan are keen to strike a deal with Real Madrid for goalkeeper Andriy Lunin in the event that Mike Maignan leaves San Siro at the end of his contract, and the Rossoneri will be hoping for another assist from starman Luka Modric.
Milan are still in talks over a new contract extension for Maignan, who will be out of contract at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Recent reports claim, however, that Maignan is pushing for an annual salary in the region of €8m, but that the Rossoneri are ‘stuck’ at the €5m mark and are unlikely to increase their proposal much further.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Juventus, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen for a potential deal with the Frenchman, who will be free to negotiate with whichever team he chooses from January onwards.
According to reports from Tuttosport and several other outlets in Italy, Milan could make a move for Real Madrid understudy Lunin if they end up losing Maignan on a free.
The Ukrainian shot-stopper is reportedly valued in the region of €25m by his current employers at the Bernabeu according to Calciomercato.com.

Lunin is currently represented by Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes, with whom Milan have successfully negotiated several times recently, Mends is also the agent of Joao Felix, Pervis Estupinan and Rafael Leao.
As per Calciomercato, Milan will be hoping for another assist from Modric, who spent seven years with Lunin at Real Madrid, and could be key in convincing him to move to San Siro next summer.
